While driving on the highway in your Honda CR-V, you try to engage the cruise control but it doesn't work. There are a couple of potential reasons for this issue. One possibility is a faulty vacuum actuator, which could cost between $50 and $140 for the part alone. Another possibility is a broken cable connecting the actuator to the throttle, which might require replacement at a cost of $10 to $24 for the part. If you opt to have a mechanic replace the part, labor costs could range from $50 to $140.
I had an issue with my 2018 CRV where I couldn't figure out how to use the cruise control. Looking back, it's clear that there's a button on the steering wheel labeled “main” that you press to toggle the cruise control on or off.
Issues with the cruise control system in the Honda CRV may arise from a blown fuse, a faulty vacuum actuator, or damage to the vacuum hose.
Yep, the primary issue has been resolved.
I really appreciate it! The primary button resolved the issue!
Thanks! The primary button worked perfectly! 👍🙂
There's a button on the lower left side of the dashboard labeled CRUISE. Duh, right? If the button is not pushed in, that means the cruise control is turned off.
