If the bluetooth stops working on your 2012 Dodge Journey, preventing your device from connecting to Uconnect, follow these steps: Find the interior fuse box on the passenger side below the glovebox. Remove fuse #131 that corresponds to the Hands Free Module, which is a 10 amp fuse. Put the fuse back in and turn the ignition key to "acc" position, or if your car has a push-button start, press it to "acc" mode. Delete "Dodge Journey" from your phone's list of available wireless options and then attempt to reconnect. By removing the Hands Free fuse, your phone should now be able to connect to the Journey's Uconnect and bluetooth systems. If this doesn't solve the issue, check for software updates or inspect for faulty wiring hidden behind the dashboard.
The Bluetooth feature in the 2012 Dodge Journey might fail due to various reasons, like software glitches, a blown fuse, or issues with connecting or compatibility with the phone.
I took my car to the dealership to have a fuse replaced, and it seemed to work fine initially. However, as soon as I was about to leave, it stopped working again. I went back, adjusted the fuse, and it started working once more. But while I was driving out, it stopped working again. I had to return to the dealership, and they told me it was the hands-free module causing the issue.
