To troubleshoot why your 2015 Chevy Impala key fob isn't functioning, common reasons could be a depleted battery or damaged internal components. To open the key fob, turn it upside down and locate a tiny screw holding the plastic shell together. Use a small Phillips head screwdriver to turn the screw counterclockwise and remove it carefully to avoid stripping. On the side of the fob, there is a small indentation where you can insert a coin or flat-head screwdriver to separate the two halves. Inside, you will find a silver coin-like battery positioned in the center. You can try sliding it out with your fingers, or if it's stuck, gently lift it out with a flat screwdriver or paperclip.
