If your key fob isn't working, you'll need to replace the battery. All key fobs use a CR2032 battery, which is a small coin-shaped battery that typically costs around $5 each. These batteries can be found in the same place as regular batteries. To change the battery, you'll need to remove the back panel of the fob. Different key fobs may have varying methods for opening the back panel. Some may require simply pulling it down to slide off, allowing you to replace the old battery with a new one. However, for others, you may need to remove a couple of small screws first. These screws are easy to remove with a small screwdriver.

If the remote start feature on your 2013 Dodge Durango isn't functioning properly, the issue typically stems from a faulty or rusted pin switch under the hood.
