Sometimes, the technology in the Audi Q5 can cause issues with the tail lights even though it was installed for convenience and not due to a problem with the indicators. In order for the tail lights to work, the hatch on the Q5 must be closed so that a switch can activate them. If the rear indicators do not turn on, it may be because the latch cover on the hatch was not replaced properly. Make sure the latch cover is in place, and then check for a burnt-out LED bulb or any disconnected wiring in the harness. If you have recently installed a towing assembly, the wiring for the trailer lights may be affecting the Audi's tail lights. Additionally, check the fuses in your Audi in case one has blown. The fuses are typically located behind the dash on both sides of the cabin's front end and also on the right side of the trunk.
