To access the fuse box, look to the left of the steering wheel and search for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. You can use a screwdriver or prybar to carefully pry open this panel. Inside, you will see a variety of fuses. Check the back of the panel for a diagram that indicates the purpose of each fuse. If this information is not there, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you have identified the problematic fuse, remove it. Inspect the fuse closely - if the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, then the fuse is still functional and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are generally inexpensive, costing around $10.
