The 2018 Acura MDX may have different causes for the malfunctioning lights. It could range from a simple and affordable issue to a more complex and expensive problem. Potential reasons could include blown fuses, burned-out or defective bulbs, or faulty wiring. The preferable and less expensive solution would be merely replacing the dead bulbs. The appropriate bulb sizes for various lights in the MDX are: LED for the dome light, map light, and glove box light; 158/194 for the interior door light; 6615F bulb for the vanity mirror light; and 168 for the luggage compartment light. If the problem lies with the fuse, a relatively inexpensive fix would be to replace the fuse.
The top reasons why interior lights in an Acura MDX may not be working are due to blown fuses, defective bulbs, and malfunctioning switches.
