The 2003 Dodge Durango comes with Mopar coolant in orange color. It's important not to mix different antifreeze types to prevent possible corrosion and engine damage. If your vehicle is regularly serviced at a Dodge dealership, they'll use the correct coolant. However, if you've had coolant work done elsewhere, it's possible a different type was used. If you're unsure of the coolant in your system, adding distilled water is a safe option. Though it may slightly reduce cooling capacity, it won't harm your engine.
Low Toxicity Antifreeze and Engine Coolant (ANT1G-EA) is the coolant option suggested for use in the Durango.
