When the fluid is low, turn the steering wheel all the way to one side and then to the other to drain the fluid from the wheel into the container. Once the container is empty, fill it up to the full line without overfilling it. It may take a little while for the steering wheel to feel smooth again, so take a 20-minute drive to ensure everything is working properly.
