The 2015 Ford Transit has a fuel cutoff switch, also known as an inertia switch, located in the toe-board on the passenger side, next to the transmission hollow. This safety feature is designed to deactivate the fuel pump in case of a collision to prevent fuel from adding to any potential fire hazard. However, it may also be activated by rough terrain or a hole in the road, causing the car to stall. If this happens, you can reset the system by turning the ignition off and then back on after a short pause.
I can't seem to locate it. Are we referring to the Transit 250? Can you show me a picture of where exactly it is? Can you assist me, please?
The fuel cutoff switch, which is also called the inertia switch on the 2015 Ford Transit, can be found on the passenger side footwell to the right of the transmission hump, specifically in the toe-board area.
