If the factory Audio system in your 2004 Cadillac DeVille has not been upgraded, you should be able to locate the amplifier in the same spot regardless of the trim level. It can be found behind the rear seat, in the rear electronics bay. To access it, you'll have to remove the carpeted trunk liner and lower the plastic panel behind the rear seat bulkhead. Although you may be able to see it, you won't be able to work on it unless you take out the seat-back. If you're considering an upgrade, it's often recommended to bypass the existing amplifier and install aftermarket equipment in your trunk, together with a quality subwoofer and amplifier box for optimal sound.
