If you own a 2005 Chevy Equinox, you might need to locate the coolant temperature sensor in your car. Finding it is simple in the engine bay. Begin by going to the front of your vehicle and using the prop arm on the left side of the engine compartment to lift and secure the hood. Then, check inside the compartment behind the right cylinder head. You will see the coolant temperature sensor situated in the coolant pipe below the air intake pipe.
