To access the cabin air filter in the 2015 Ford Transit Connect, it is located beneath the glovebox on the front passenger side. Using a tool like a prying tool, you'll need to remove the rivets to reach the filter. The purpose of the cabin air filter is to purify the air coming from the heater and air conditioner in the vehicle. Over time, the filter can become dirty and should be replaced annually or every 20,000 miles, whichever comes first. If the current filter appears significantly dirty, has a different color, or contains debris in the pleats, it's time for a replacement. The process of changing the cabin air filter typically takes 5 to 10 minutes.
