In a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica, the transmission control module is built into the power control module. To access it, start by opening the hood using the release lever inside the passenger compartment. Then, pop the hood latch from the front of the car. Disconnect the negative battery terminal with a 10-millimeter socket and ratchet. Raise the car to remove the front driver's tire. After removing the tire, take off the splash shield behind it. There are four electrical connectors attached to the PCM that need to be disconnected, along with three screws holding it in place. The TCM is not a part that can be serviced separately, so the PCM must be replaced to resolve the issue.
