The Kia Forte is equipped with an OBD port located underneath the dashboard inside your car. To locate it, first sit on the driver's side and observe the area closest to the left side of the steering column in the lower part of the footwell. If you find that the port's fuse is blown, you can typically have it replaced for an average cost of $20 to $50. If the wires seem damaged, check for loose connections or opt to replace them for about $20 to $40.
I drive a 2019 Kia Forte S and found my port located right under the side panel on the bottom left of the steering wheel, which is often mistakenly thought to be inside.
In the Kia Forte, the OBD port is located beneath the dashboard by the driver's side foot area, close to the steering column.
