You will have two separate G251 sensors in your Audi TT, with one located on each side of the cabin. The longitudinal acceleration sensor can be found behind the glove box. If you need to replace it, you don't necessarily have to remove the glove box itself, but you will have to remove the dashboard end plate. It is crucial to disconnect the negative battery terminal when replacing any sensor in an Audi to avoid voltage spikes that could damage the new sensors. The new sensor will require coding, so make sure you have the necessary tools or access to them before attempting this repair on your own.
The longitudinal acceleration sensor for the Audi TT is situated on the right side of the engine compartment.
