The tire jack is stored in the rear of your Chevy Blazer, inside the side compartment. Avoid using the frame as a jack point because it can cause the axles to shift and the springs to stretch. For 4WD trucks, the best jack points are the axles. If you have a 2WD truck with IFS, you can use the cross member or lower A-arms. Depending on your jack's design and capacity, you may be able to lift the truck at the bottom of the differential, or it may be safer and more practical to lift it at the outer edges of the axle near the U-joints.
You should place the jack beneath either the front or rear wheels, then use it to lift the car by cranking it up.
