The air filter should be replaced every 15,000 to 30,000 miles. Spark plugs typically need replacement every 100,000 miles, unless using copper ones which should be changed every 30,000 miles. Various engine problems can occur including loose gaskets, spark plug issues, oil leaks, and overheating, which could lead to dangerous situations like fires and vehicle explosions. Keep an eye out for excessive oil consumption, as it may require more frequent oil changes than anticipated.
