Depending on whether you have the basic radio or the MyFord Touch system, the AUX input on your 2010 Ford Edge can be found either next to the USB port (sometimes called AV Input) or within the center armrest. When using the USB port, simply connect your iPod or similar device using a USB cable, and your Ford vehicle will automatically organize and play the media files on it through the stereo system after a brief scanning period. To utilize the 3.5mm input jack, plug in your device while playing tracks and then select AUX on the radio until you see LINE IN or SYNC LINE IN displayed. Your music should then play through the vehicle's speakers.
The auxiliary input for the 2010 Ford Edge is located within the center console, alongside a 12-volt power outlet.
