As the proud owner of a 2003 Ford Taurus, it's important to know where your alarm box is located in your car. The box is easy to find - it's situated behind the dashboard, underneath and closest to the driver's side footwell. Inside the box are several fuses and switches. The coded label on the small black box lid will show you which fuse corresponds to the alarm system. If you need to reset the anti-theft feature, simply lock and then unlock your vehicle. Insert the key into the ignition, turn it to the on position, and wait for 3 to 6 seconds. The code will disappear from your dashboard, indicating that the system has been reset.
