If the Sync system in your Ford Flex isn't functioning properly, the initial step is to attempt a restart. A reboot can often resolve any software issues causing it to freeze or malfunction. If resetting doesn't resolve the issue, or if the system wasn't working to start with, the next troubleshooting step is to inspect the fuses. Ensure they are intact and replace any blown fuses. Lastly, check the wire harness at the rear of the radio. Loose connections or frayed wires in the harness could also prevent the system from powering on.

Press the phone icon, navigate to system settings, tap confirm, find and select the Bluetooth device, tap confirm, select your phone, confirm, and easily connect to your Ford Flex.
