To change the oil in a 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer, you will need SAE 0W-20 Full Synthetic Motor Oil. Before starting, ensure the car has been parked for a few hours to avoid burning yourself with hot oil. Locate the oil pan and drain plug underneath the engine compartment. Place a bucket under the plug, remove it, and allow the oil to drain completely, which can take about an hour. Once drained, replace the plug and find the intake port on top of the oil pan. Use a funnel to refill the oil to the full level, avoiding overfilling. Wipe up any spills, close the port, and you're all set.
In order to keep your 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer running smoothly, you will need to use about 4.5 quarts of SAE 0W-20 full synthetic motor oil.
