Starting from 2019, the newer models of the AudiQ3 no longer need premium fuel like previous versions did, which required 91 octane or higher. The current AudiQ3 now requires 87 octane and should not be fueled with anything lower or poor-quality. Contrary to common belief, using higher octane fuel does not offer any real advantages for your engine or vehicle. Claims that it boosts gas mileage or keeps fuel system components cleaner have been proven to be untrue. Luxury or performance vehicles with turbo engines that demand higher combustion rates are the only ones that necessitate higher octane fuel.
An Audi Q3 requires regular unleaded gasoline for normal operation. However, using premium fuel can enhance its performance capabilities.
