The 2004 Chevrolet Silverado uses a 9145 fog light bulb size and can also work with an LED version instead of the traditional bulbs. To replace the fog lights, start by removing the headlight housing. Undo the fastening pin located at the top of the headlight housing to release it. Once that's done, twist and remove the headlight bulb from its socket. Keep them in a safe place. Beneath the headlight housing, you'll find the socket for the fog light bulb. Twist and remove the socket, then pull out the old fog light bulb from the socket. Insert the new bulb by simply snapping it in place. Finally, reverse the steps to reassemble everything back together.
