Acura cars are famous for their luxury and well-engineered quality, but the 2009 TSX model does have its shortcomings. However, the good news is that none of the major issues reported for the '09 TSX are related to the transmission. Nonetheless, this doesn't mean you're completely out of the woods. While there are no specific transmission problems, it's still important to not overlook routine maintenance tasks. The most common transmission issues we come across usually stem from low fluid levels or high operating temperatures. It's essential to monitor the transmission temperature when possible and make sure to keep your fluid at the proper level (and replace it every ~50,000 miles). Remember, a little prevention goes a long way in avoiding problems down the road.

I am experiencing an issue where multiple warning lights are coming on in my car, including the Transmission light, ABS, Emissions, and Charging System. It seems like there may be loose or crossed wires causing the problem, which seems to be common as vehicles age. This is the first time I've noticed a green light flashing next to the D while the car is in park, and it keeps dinging. When I try to turn off the car, the key won't turn all the way to the off position where I can remove it. I have to switch to reverse, then back to drive, before I can turn off the ignition and remove the key. After leaving the car for a couple of days, only the Emissions light came on when I tried to start it up again. My car is precious to me, and I've driven it nearly 300,000 miles. A diagnostic test suggested checking the solenoids. Can anyone offer advice on fixing the solenoids? I can't afford a new car at the moment, and my truck's gas costs are much higher. I had hoped my car would last beyond 280,000 miles. I appreciate any help and guidance. Thank you, Stacey.
