The Honda Fit's Earth Dreams engine can experience issues like a loose head gasket and oil leaks, which can lead to various engine problems. It is important to address a loose gasket promptly by tightening it. Oil leaks should also be promptly fixed to prevent further complications. Additionally, a loose spark plug can cause engine trouble, while engine overheating is a serious concern that could result in car fires and even explosions. Excessive oil use means the oil should be changed promptly. It is recommended to change the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, the coolant every 60,000 miles, and the spark plugs every 100,000 miles, unless using a copper spark plug which should be replaced every 30,000 miles.
