The BMW B57 engine may encounter issues such as a loose gas cap and a faulty radiator, resulting in various problems with the engine. These problems can include increased oil consumption, necessitating more frequent oil changes. A critical issue is engine overheating, which can potentially lead to fires and even the car exploding. Malfunctioning gaskets should be promptly tightened, and loose spark plugs may cause engine troubles. Oil leaks should be promptly addressed to prevent further damage. It is important to replace the coolant every 60,000 miles, change spark plugs every 100,000 miles (unless they are copper, in which case they should be replaced every 30,000 miles), and replace the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles to maintain the engine's performance and longevity.
That's nonsense. The B57 engine runs on diesel and doesn't have spark plugs or a gas cap.
