If the AudiApp isn't functioning properly with your car, the initial step is to restart your device. A simple phone restart can resolve communication issues that may be causing the app to malfunction with your vehicle. If that doesn't work, ensure that your account is correctly linked to your car and that you are a registered user for the vehicle. If the app still isn't working, it's best to reach out to Audi directly to help set up your account correctly with your car for it to function again.

It's constantly malfunctioning. The quality is poor. Don't count on it - it's one of the most disappointing car apps I've ever come across.

I recently purchased a 2023 Audi etron sportback on Saturday, November 5, 2022. The sales representative spent over an hour setting up my Audi and me as a key user. Unfortunately, right from the beginning, we encountered issues - receiving error messages that the vehicle was not being recognized. Spent four hours on Sunday trying to resolve the problem by removing and reinstalling me as a key user multiple times, but it still didn't work.

On Monday, I spent an hour and 45 minutes on hold before finally reaching a technical support representative from Audi, while I was already at the dealership. Spent an additional two hours on the phone with the Audi tech support rep and my sales rep, but still didn't make any progress. I now have a $100k car that I cannot monitor with my Audi app as it's not connecting to my phone. They created a detailed report, and now I'm waiting for a solution.

My app has been down for the past 6 days - it's not updating despite trying everything to get it back up and running.

My Audi application is malfunctioning on my mobile device.

Forget about Audi's terrible software, deal with it temporarily by using other options until you get rid of your Audi. Once you sell it, never consider buying another one. It's not just the numerous software issues that are frustrating, but also Audi's complete lack of concern.

My Audi app has been malfunctioning for over a month now.

I've been using this app for more than three years now. It's been a complete disaster as it rarely functions properly, probably less than twelve times. Back in 2019 when I first got the car, I wasted hours talking to customer support. They made attempts to fix the issues but ended up failing. So, don't rely on this app – it's definitely not a shining example of Audi technology.

I have a decked out 2019 Audi Q8 S-Line Luxury Prestige that I adore, but I can't stand the app that comes with it. The app is pretty useless, even when it decides to function properly. Basically, it's a piece of junk. It used to work fine when I first got it, but they keep updating and messing with it for no reason. Now it's not working again, and there's no way to find out what's wrong with it. And to make matters worse, there's no support available on the My Audi website. It's incredibly frustrating to have a $100,000 car paired with a $2 app!

If your Audi app isn't functioning, it could be due to these reasons: you haven't been verified as a Key User, you need to link your account with your car, or you don't have an active subscription to the service.

The app is unable to establish a connection. Received an error message stating that the status of the vehicle could not be obtained for the 2023 Q5S model. Feeling extremely let down. It functioned properly for approximately four weeks but then lost connection. Attempted to resolve by deleting and reinstalling the app, but it did not work. Disappointing that Audi has not addressed this issue. Perhaps they are not concerned because they have a thriving business.

Disregard the advice to reset or reinstall the app. Almost always, Audi messes up and puts out a faulty update. The only way to fix it is to revert to the old version or wait for them to release a new update.

  • Quentin E

I also think it's total garbage. Hopefully, there will be some kind of update in 2023.

After experiencing extremely poor customer service from Audi ever since I bought my car two months ago, it seems to me that the myAudi App is not functioning properly. Despite numerous attempts at different dealerships, I was advised by sales representatives to give up. It's concerning that senior management has not addressed this issue or informed Audi owners about the problem. One can't help but wonder how they would handle a straightforward request for a $25,000 cash refund to make up for their failure to deliver. I suppose that might be my next course of action!

I purchased my new Q3 45 S Line Premium Plus a couple of weeks back, but I still haven't been able to utilize MyAudi or Audi Connect. These apps are extremely unreliable. Are they seriously expecting anyone to pay for a subscription to this low-quality service?

This app is the worst - full of errors and downright terrible.

    I have no idea.

In my experience using the iPhone app, I've noticed that after Apple releases a software update, I usually need to log back into my Audi account to resolve any connectivity problems.

I've contacted Audi customer support two times already, but the app is still not functioning. Can you offer any recommendations?

I'm experiencing the identical issue as Jim's post from January 7th, 2023.

I recently purchased a data plug but I'm having trouble connecting it. I've been trying for hours now and I really regret not reading your reviews beforehand. πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ

Etron, the Audi mobile application is terrible. The dealer themselves admit it’s terrible. They are selling a $100,000 car that lacks the automatic start feature without the app. Vito, the Audi president, behaves like a coward, avoiding responding to emails and shying away from disputes. Avoid purchasing Audi at all costs!

I inquired about my app not working at a store, and the employee checked their computer. They assured me that the issue had been forwarded and should be fixed in a few days. However, several weeks have passed and the problem still persists.

Purchased the Q4 Electron in April 2023. It's only been a few weeks, but the app isn't syncing properly. Even worse, a message pops up saying, "The service is unavailable, please adjust privacy settings in the vehicle's MMI." I've tried toggling the privacy settings in the car's MMI (Settings --> Privacy), but the app still isn't working correctly. The car itself might be fine, but the app definitely needs some improvements.

I'm experiencing a similar issue with our Time Tracker app. It took a long time to start working initially, but now it has stopped again and is not updating.

$40,000 car - the application is malfunctioning and the website account is also not functioning.

I recently purchased the Q4 E-tron 50 two months ago, but I'm still unable to connect the app to the car.

  • Darrell V.

I purchased a Q4 e-tron three months back, and the salesperson made us feel like we were too dumb to troubleshoot the app. The app hardly functions, occasionally works but mostly notifies us that we've been logged out. In one word, the app is rubbish.

  • Nick Danger

I tried restarting the app, logging out and back in, resetting my car's MMI, uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone, but nothing has worked! I might need to get a new leased car soon. I wonder if that will speed up Audi's response...

  • FordHole

It's garbage. I've had my Gt for 2 years, and it only works occasionally, if that.

  • Amanda Perry

Switching from Mercedes to Audi was the biggest regret of my life. The dealer's service at Audi is extremely disappointing compared to the excellent treatment I received at Mercedes and BMW. The app constantly crashes, and I have no idea how to fix it despite repeatedly restarting my phone. Whenever I call for assistance, they either don't return my calls or cannot provide a solution.

  • Ernest G.

The reason my app isn't working is that its access expired along with the 3-year guarantee. Adding 2 more years of coverage didn't include reconnecting the app. Audi charges Β£40 annually for basic linking (such as location and fuel info) or Β£110 a year for full map and software updates. One would expect premium brands like Audi to offer long-term support, especially since it costs them nothing to include current software and links - but unfortunately, that's not the case. I see this as a unfair money grab and refuse to pay, as it might encourage Audi to become even more unjust in the future.
