If the backup camera of your 2015 VW Jetta is not functioning, there are a couple of things you can troubleshoot. First, check if the camera is cracked, which should be visibly apparent. If not, the issue may be with a faulty fuse that is not providing power to it. To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack to the left of the steering wheel on the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open it up. Inside, you will find several fuses. The back of the panel you opened should have a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If not, you can also refer to the owner's manual for the vehicle. Once you determine the needed fuse, simply remove it. Check if the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact. If it's broken, the fuse is defective and needs replacement. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. New fuses are affordable, costing around $10.
If the backup camera on a 2015 VW Jetta is malfunctioning, it is important to inspect both the camera itself and the wiring for possible issues.
Probably the fuse.
Can you tell me where I can find the fuse?
