The 2011 Kia Rondo had some issues with the oxygen sensors and wiper motor failing. It's recommended to replace the O2 sensor every 60,000 to 90,000 miles since it wears out over time. All cars made after 1980 come equipped with an oxygen sensor located in the emissions control system. This sensor sends important data to the engine's computer to ensure optimal performance. A properly working O2 sensor also helps monitor emissions and notifies you if they become too high.
The 2011 Kia Rondo exhibits a concerning problem where it unexpectedly lurches forward while braking and accelerates instead of slowing down when the driver presses the brake pedal.
I've got a 2011 Kia Rondo EXV6, which had 135 kilometers on it when I got it. So far, the only things that have needed fixing are the O2 sensor and the window wiper motor, and I think it's due for some new struts. Aside from that, it's been running like a charm. I live out in the Canadian prairies, and even on those freezing winter mornings, it always starts up without any issues. It handles really well on the highway. Just some routine maintenance due to its age and wear and tear, but as long as you take care of it, it's all good.
