Convenience features can be great for drivers until they encounter issues. With each new feature added to a vehicle, there is the potential for more points of failure, which could end up costing you money. Take passive entry in the Dodge Charger, for example – while it's a useful feature, it is not without its flaws. The most common problem is signal interference that can be resolved without repairs. However, if the issue persists regardless of your location, it could be due to a faulty key fob or passive entry sensor.
I own a 2021 Dodge Charger widebody, and the passenger side passive entry feature is functioning, but the driver's side is not working. I've attempted to toggle it off and on, but it's still not functioning.
The 2018 Dodge Charger has a passive entry issue when the key fob sensors do not receive a signal.
