Certainly! The 2016 Dodge Charger is equipped with a built-in Vehicle Security Alarm (VSA). This system keeps an eye on the doors to detect any unauthorized access, and it also monitors the keyless start/stop button for any unauthorized use. When activated, the VSA prevents the interior door locks and trunk release switches from functioning. If there's a trigger, the VSA will sound audible and visible alerts by making the horn pulse and the parking lamps flash, along with causing the vehicle security light on the dashboard to flash. To activate the VSA, simply turn off the engine, press the LOCK button on the interior door lock switch while the driver door is open (the passenger door can also be open), then press the lock button on the exterior handle with a valid key fob nearby, and press the LOCK button on it too. To deactivate, just reverse these steps using the UNLOCK button.

Certainly! The 2016 Dodge Charger offers a security system that is optional on SE, SXT, and R/T models. However, it is standard on the R/T Scat Pack, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat trims.
