The 2008 Chevy Impala offers a remote start feature that comes standard with the 3.5 and XL models, but it is not available for the base model. You can consider using aftermarket kits to add this feature to the base trim, but it's important to check if the kit is compatible with older car models. Keep in mind that installing aftermarket kits may void the warranty, but given the age of the car, this is probably not a major concern.
The 2008 Chevy Impala offers the option of a remote start feature. This feature is included as standard on the LT w/3.5L, LT 50th Anniversary, LT w/3.9L, LTZ, and SS trim levels, but is not included with the base LS trim.

Where can I find a replacement starter key fob for a CAN-SL2 system for my 2008 Impala?
