In 2015, the Hyundai Sonata offers a unique approach to remote starting. Instead of the traditional fob used in many newer cars, this model requires an app. By downloading the Hyundai Blue Link app on your phone and connecting it to the car via Bluetooth, you can start the car remotely. However, this feature is only available on the higher trim levels; if you have the basic model, the remote start function will not work even though you can still pair and link your phone to the car.
How can you tell if your Hyundai Sonata is equipped with a remote starter?

Bluelink is no longer available for the 2015 model despite having a button for it, so it seems necessary to add an aftermarket kit for remote start.
I don't have a remote start feature on my 2015 Sonata Limited.
The 2015 Hyundai Sonata offers the convenience of remote start through Hyundai's Blue Link system. If you prefer a different option, you can opt for an aftermarket kit to have the same functionality.
