Yes, the 2019 Jeep Compass is equipped with a CD player. If the CD player is not working, the common reason is a fuse issue. To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack to the left of the steering wheel on the dashboard. Using a screwdriver or prybar, carefully open the panel to reveal the fuses inside. There should be a diagram on the back of the panel or you can refer to the owner's manual for guidance on which fuse controls the CD player. Once you identify the necessary fuse, remove it by pulling it out. Check if the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact; if it's broken, the fuse is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically costing around 10 dollars.
