The 2017 Ford Expedition doesn't come with adaptive cruise control, but it's an option in the newer models. In this Expedition, you will find standard cruise control with buttons located on the left side of the steering wheel for easy access. This feature allows you to set your desired speed and maintain it without needing to keep your foot on the gas pedal. It functions only when your speed is above 20 mph and should be avoided in heavy traffic or on winding roads. Using cruise control on wet or icy roads is not recommended, as it could lead to loss of control and a serious accident. To activate cruise control, simply press the "ON" button and then press "SET +" once you've reached your desired speed.
Adaptive cruise control uses multiple sensors located at the front of the car. It is not a standard feature and is usually only available on higher-end models. Unfortunately, the Expedition does not include adaptive cruise control on any of its trim levels for this year.
