The 2018 Volvo XC60 comes with a remote start feature designed by the manufacturer. While the push-button start is not an option since the vehicle still uses a key to start the ignition, you can use the remote start function even when you are not inside the SUV. By pressing the lock button on the key fob, you can remotely start the vehicle. For this to work, the car must be locked and the hood must be closed. To initiate the remote start, press the key's button (2) briefly, then immediately follow with a long press of at least 2 seconds on button (3). Following these steps should allow you to start the vehicle from a distance.

This is false information. As far as I can tell, the 2018 Volvo XC60 T6 Momentum does not have a remote start feature. While it does have a keyless fob for starting the vehicle from inside, this is not considered a remote start. The only way to remotely start the vehicle is through the Volvo On Call app, but this feature requires a subscription. Therefore, if I am mistaken, please clarify. Otherwise, do not claim that this feature is included in all trims, as far as I know, this is not the case.

That's incorrect. My 2018 XC60 T6 Momentum does not come with remote start. Just to clarify, I do have a keyless fob, but it doesn't allow me to start the car from outside. To enable remote start, I would need to purchase a subscription for the Volvo Car App/Volvo On Call App.
