If the RPM meter on your Kia Rio is not working, the likely causes are a blown fuse, a cut wire, or a faulty connection. While there are some less common possibilities like a malfunctioning throttle sensor or a faulty instrument cluster PCB, these are less likely to be the main issues. To check the fuse, locate the internal cabin fuse box on the left side of the dashboard near the steering wheel. Remove the cover to reveal the relays and inspect the CLUSTER fuse (10A), which controls most of the gauges, and the A/BAG IND fuse (also 10A), despite its name, is also responsible for the instrument cluster.

Hey, don't worry about it, everything is okay. What other issue could be preventing it from working properly?

The main reason for the RPM gauge not working is a blown fuse connected to the tachometer. Check the fuses to confirm they are in good working order. Additionally, a poorly done wiring job might also be responsible for a faulty tachometer or a malfunctioning relay switch for the tachometer.
