To replace the battery in a 2015 Chevy Impala, first, find the battery located inside the engine bay under the hood. Remove the plastic housing cover by squeezing the tabs and pulling it off. Then, use a socket to take off the crossbar that secures the battery. Using a socket and socket wrench, disconnect and carefully remove the terminals. Replace the old battery with a new one, which can cost between $100 and $150 depending on the brand and quality. Check the cables for dirt and corrosion, and clean them with a mixture of baking soda, water, and a wire brush if needed.
You are mistaken. This battery contains additional cables and a sizable 300 amp fuse, as well as three smaller cables linked to a buss bar setup along with the large fuse.
To replace the battery in a 2015 Chevy Impala, you need to disconnect both terminal connections. Use a socket to remove the crossbar securing the battery. Take out the old battery and insert a new one.
