If you need to lift your Jeep Cherokee to change a tire or work underneath it, you should use the original jack or a floor jack. You can lift the Cherokee from the front or rear axle, or the frame rails depending on the model year. Once it's lifted, secure it on jack stands to keep it safely elevated. Avoid jacking it up on a slope to prevent it from rolling away.
To raise the Jeep Cherokee, place the jack below the flat tire's lifting point. Make sure to lift the jack before it's securely in place. Do not raise the vehicle until you are certain the jack is fully engaged. To lift the car, turn the jack clockwise.
