Using a jack to lift the Escape is simple and easy. Begin by identifying the pinching points on the underside of the vehicle, located at the corners and easy to spot. If you have trouble finding them, consult your owner's manual for guidance. Position the jack under the car correctly and ensure that its lifting points align with the car's lifting points near the rear trailing arms. Confirm a secure connection between the jack and the car, then start cranking to raise the vehicle.
Position the car jack at an appropriate spot to jack up the vehicle. Raise the vehicle sufficiently for a jack stand to be placed securely in a safe jacking location.
