The 2003 Chevy Tahoe can hold up to 15.8 quarts of transmission fluid. To change the fluid, start by ensuring the car is on level ground and opening the hood. Locate the transmission fluid reservoir near the transmission and find the dipstick. Pull out the dipstick, clean it, reinsert it, and then pull it out again to check the fluid level. Use a funnel to add the necessary amount of fluid to reach the recommended level, making sure not to overfill. Once done, securely close the reservoir and you're all set to hit the road.
