To take out the back seats in a Ford Escape, you'll need sockets and wrenches for the job. Start by prying off the plastic covers at the bottom of the seat rails where they connect to the SUV body. Then, remove the bolts securing the seat rails to the car floor. Once all bolts are out, you can fold down the seat and lift it out. It's typically easier to remove the seat through the back of the car rather than using a side door. Remember to keep the bolts you remove in place to avoid losing them and prevent damaging the car's threads.
