The 2017 Jeep Cherokee won't have an interior release lever. Instead, depending on your trim level, you may find a release lever on your key fob. To open the trunk, go to the back of the vehicle with your key fob, use the physical key to unlock the trunk, and then pull up on the black lever to open it.
