To change or take out the dome lights in a 2012 Ford Focus, tug the end of the cover down from the car's ceiling. Pull down the end that's closest to the rear of the vehicle. This method is also used for the rear dome light. The bulb is located in the center of the fixture and can be removed by turning it slightly counterclockwise until you hear a "click," signaling that it can be released. Insert the new bulb in the opposite direction and test it before returning the dome assembly to the ceiling. If the light doesn't turn on, turn the entire unit 180 degrees to activate it. To replace the trunk lights in the Focus, pry open the lens on the right side using a flathead screwdriver, and replace the interior plug.
To change the interior light bulb in a 2012 Ford Focus, first switch off the dome light. Next, unscrew the screws to remove the bulb lens cover. Then, unscrew the old light bulb from the dome socket and dispose of it. Screw in a new bulb firmly into the dome socket. After that, put the lens cover back in place and either press it to snap it or use a screwdriver to secure the screws.
