You can fold down the back of the rear seats in your Hyundai Elantra to make more space for long items or extra luggage. Be sure not to have anyone sit on these folded seats while the car is moving. To fold them down, first, adjust the front seat backs and slide them forward. Then, lower the headrests on the rear seats. Locate the seatback folding lever in the trunk near the hinges, and pull it. Push the seatback towards the front of your Elantra to fold it down. To restore the seats to their original position, pull the seatback rearward until you hear it click securely into place.
