Turning off the car alarm on a Hyundai Elantra is easy with the key fob by pressing the lock, unlock, or alarm button. If you don't have the key fob, you can disable the alarm by inserting the key into the ignition lock and turning it to the ON position based on the owner's manual instructions. Although the process may take some time, the alarm will eventually be turned off, providing a solution even without the use of a key fob.
