If the interior lights in your MINI Cooper are on, you can use the clear buttons next to each light to turn them off. These buttons function similarly to other car lights and are simple to operate. If you find that the lights remain on after you close your doors, inspect the door ajar sensors to ensure they are clean and functioning properly. If these sensors are dirty or malfunctioning, the lights may stay illuminated. The center dome light in your car has an ON/AUTO/OFF switch; when set to AUTO, it activates all cabin lights when the doors are open.

To switch off the indoor lights in a 2019 MINI Cooper, simply press the transparent buttons situated on each side of the dome lights.
