To take out the 3rd-row seat in a Chevy Tahoe, you will need a 15mm socket, ratchet, and a small screwdriver. First, remove the accessory tray and floor lining mat. Find the 10x1.5mm hex bolts under the seats. Lift the seats, remove the 3 accessory covers and 3 forward retaining bolts. Lift the seat and use a screwdriver to locate the electrical lifting tab before removing the seat. The process takes about an hour and gives you extra space in the back seat for larger items.
To take out the third row of seats from the Chevy Tahoe, you'll have to lift the lever located at its base to detach it from the brackets where the legs attach to the floor.
