I believe you're looking to remotely start your Ford Transit without using the physical ignition key, and instead, utilize your key FOB for remote entry. With your FOB, you can begin your Transit from up to 300 feet away. The remote start feature enables you to ignite your engine without actually getting into the vehicle. To initiate the process, start by hitting the lock button to secure all doors, followed by pressing the remote start button twice. An indication of successful activation is the exterior lights flashing twice. Should the start fail, the horn will alert you unless you've opted for the quiet start mode. The engine will continue to run for 5, 10, or 15 minutes, depending on your selected remote start runtime.
If there is no admin key available, the only way to initiate transit without the key is to deactivate the ignition.
